Gamemusic Records Features a Special Vinyl Release for Baldur’s Gate 3 Original Soundtrack

Gamemusic Records label has started accepting Standard Edition and Deluxe Edition pre-orders for Baldur’s Gate 3 vinyl albums. Both Standard and Deluxe editions are available for purchase. The Gamemusic Records team has collaborated with Larian Studios and Borislav Slavov, the composer of the score, to bring you an exceptional musical experience that does justice to both the game and the soundtrack. The vinyl is remastered and features new original artwork.

The Standard Edition of the album features three 12-inch vinyl discs (3x 180-gram LP) that come packed in a gatefold jacket with antistatic sleeves. Each side of the cover is adorned with intricate artwork created by Magdalena Katańska, a trusted and talented associate of the label. The inside of the jacket features a stunning panoramic painting that draws inspiration from the world and characters of the game, making it a visual treat for fans of the game and its music. The discs are designed in a mix of black and purple, which symbolizes the Mind Flayers – feared enemies from the Forgotten Realms universe.

The limited Deluxe Edition, which is only available during the pre-order campaign, boasts six original paintings of Origin characters on its inner sleeves, paying homage to the beloved heroes of the game. The discs in this edition are designed in different colors to represent the duality of these characters’ relationships. The Deluxe Edition is presented in a magnetic closure box set that resembles an ancient grimoire. The set also includes a booklet featuring the piano score of one of the game’s famous tracks, as well as extended liner notes.

Pre-orders for the new album are now available on both the Gamemusic Records Online Store and Larian Merch Store. The Standard Edition will continue to be available for purchase, while the Deluxe Edition will only be available during the pre-order period. The albums are estimated to be shipped worldwide starting in the summer of 2024. Gamemusic Records has a history of releasing highly regarded albums for game fans and audiophiles alike, such as the Heroes of Might & Magic III OST and Frostpunk Complete OST.
