Robert Habeck, the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate Action in Germany and Vice Chancellor, will be present at gamescom 2024’s official inauguration. The game and Koelnmesse The world’s largest gaming expo, set to take place in Cologne on August 21, will have Germany’s cabinet member in charge of computer and video games in attendance, according to a statement released today by the German Games Industry Association. Habeck participated in last year’s gamescom opening ceremony as well. The following day, he went on a guided tour of the show to see the latest advancements and trends in the gaming business.
