Ubisoft has unveiled their gamescom lineup. Come August 21 in Cologne, Germany, visitors will be able to experience firsthand what it’s like to play Assassin’s Creed Shadows, interact with Star Wars Outlaws, watch the European R6 Combine Finale live, test their mettle in XDefiant, and vie for prizes in the #AssassinsCreedCosplayContest.
Launching on August 30, Star Wars Outlaws will be playable at 100 stations at Ubisoft’s Koelnmesse booth in Hall 6.1. There will also be gaming stations that are wheelchair-accessible and that offer Xbox Adaptive Controllers as an option. Additionally, developer-led presentations of Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ gameplay and a live demonstration of Yasuke and Naoe’s individual play styles are available to up to 400 people at a time.
The European R6 Combine Finale will take place on August 23 at Xperion, a gaming venue located across the Rhine from Koelnmesse, for lovers of Rainbow Six Siege. The top two Rainbow Six Siege teams in Europe will face off live during the competition for a €20,000 reward. In an arena on-site devoted to the arcade shooter, XDefiant gamers can also compete to demonstrate their abilities.
Cosplayers may also take advantage of complimentary photo shoots with cosplay photographer eosAndy at the Ubisoft stand. Additionally, cosplayers who dress as Assassins Creed can register their images in the #AssassinsCreedCosplayContest for a chance to win prizes. Go to assassinscreed.com/cosplaycontest to learn more.
