New 3-Track Hip-Hop EP Coming February 25
CircoLoco Records & NEZ Present CLR 002 — the next EP release from our collaborative record label project with nightlife icons CircoLoco — arrives on Friday, February 25. This genre-blending turn features producer NEZ and some very special guests including GTA alum Moodymann, Three 6 Mafia’s Gangsta Boo, and longtime collaborator ScHoolboy Q.
One half of the production duo NEZ and Rio — responsible for big hitting tracks like ScHoolboy Q’s Man of the Year and A$AP Rocky’s Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2 — NEZ has carved a unique lane for himself drawing inspiration from his hometown of Chicago and the sounds and style of Los Angeles, blending house, hip-hop, R&B, and electro elements in a sound all his own. Moving between genres and scenes with ease, NEZ has worked with artists ranging from Felix da Housecat to Theophilus London, 8AE, and many more across the musical spectrum.
This EP includes a trio of tracks that GTA Online players might recognize from both The Contract and Los Santos Tuners including You Wanna? — which can be found on a collectible media stick during The Contract and played back in-game via the radio wheel’s Media Player. Alongside it are Let’s Get It with ScHoolboy Q, which soundtracked the recent Short Trips with Franklin and Lamar trailer and lives on Radio Los Santos, and Freaks featuring Moodymann and Gangsta Boo, first heard in the trailer for Los Santos Tuners.
