Halloween Collaborations in Games this Fall

Afterparty

  • Players become Milo and Lola, besties that find themselves suddenly deceased and in Hell, where they’ll get to spend eternity together. If the duo outdrinks Satan, he’ll grant them re-entry to Earth. With fun activities like beer pong, dance-offs, and chugging competitions, as well as an intelligent conversation system that changes the story and the relationship between the two based on every decision.

    • Afterparty will be available on October 29 for Xbox One, PC and Mac via the Epic Game Store and PlayStation 4 for $19.99 and will be part of Xbox Game Pass’s monthly subscription priced at $9.99.  Players can pre-order now via the Epic Games Store.

Apex Legends

  • Apex Legends is getting into the spooky spirit with its limited-time Halloween Collection Event “Fight or Fright.” From now through November 5, players can partake in death-defying activities, including a Limited Time Solo Mode: Shadowfall where they respawn as an undead version of their former selves and join the powerful “Shadow Squad” without weapons or legend abilities, but with increased movement and jump speed — in addition to themed content to earn exclusive skins, limited premium cosmetics and more. Batman: The Telltale Series

  • In this gritty and violent 5-episode story, players will make discoveries that will shatter Bruce Wayne’s world and the fragile stability of a corrupt Gotham City. Batman: The Enemy Within

  • In the 5-episode follow-up to Batman: The Telltale Series, Bruce Wayne and Batman are forced into precarious new situations. The Riddler has returned to terrorize Gotham City, his gruesome puzzles merely foreshadowing an even greater crisis. Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia

  • The mobile game’s Autumn Festival begins October 10 and runs through November 7, where players can partake in fun, non-challenging Trick-or-Treat co-op quests to obtain Artifact Tokens, Linkbell Rewards, limited-time animated Halloween Stickers and more. Part 1 of the festival commences October 10 through October 24, with Part 2 running from October 24 – November 7. Limited-time Festive Gem Sales will occur throughout both Parts 1 and 2.

Hitman 2

  • Happy Halloween from Hitman 2! Celebrate spooky season with the new horror-themed Escalation Contract, available as a free content update in the Free Hitman 2 Starter Pack. The special in-game event features a fright-filled challenge complete with festively terrifying decorations. Dare to play and you permanently unlock the Tactical Wetsuit and Bat Shuriken rewards upon completion.

Hot Wheels Infinite Loop

  • Drift into Halloween with style in Mattel’s new smash-and-crash mobile racing game, Hot Wheels™ Infinite Loop, now available on iOS. From October 28 to November 3, racers will get a chance to unlock special skins and go head-to-head on the asphalt in a Halloween-themed track. Collectors be warned – two rare, limited-edition vehicles, the Fangula and Shark Cruiser, will be available only for a limited time.

Mortal Kombat 11

  • Celebrate Mortal Kombat 11 this season with a free Halloween themed in-game event, available to players starting October 25 through November 1. Seasonal content will include four new boss fights with different Halloween themed modifiers in the form of flying witches and bats, falling pumpkins, rising gravestones and sprinting black cats that will be integrated into matches. Players will also be able to earn new Brutalities, Halloween-specific consumables, player module pieces and other in-game rewards. Available for purchase now is the new Masquerade Skin Pack for $5.99 (SRP), featuring themed character skins for Jade (‘Wicked Witch Jade’), Kabal (‘Psyko Killer Kabal’) and Liu Kang (‘Calavera Liu Kang’). PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds

  • For players looking to get into the spirit of the season, frighteningly fun Halloween costumes have also hit the Battlegrounds. Costume pieces can be purchased individually or as a set at aspooktacular 33% discount. These costumes are only available for a limited time.

The Sims

  • The newly released The Sims 4: Realm of Magic Game Pack introduces the seemingly normal countryside town of Glimmerbrook, where mystical discoveries await Simmers who dare to venture through a secret portal.
