Developer Fugitive Games and publisher Iceberg Interactive have announced Into The Stars, which was backed by Kickstarter supporters.
Into The Stars is a single player open-world journey through a distant solar system. Scavenge resources where you can manage your ship and lead your crew in combat. Into the Stars incorporates elements from popular titles like FTL and Out There, where the struggle for survival in a hostile environment plays out much like a modern version of The Oregon Trail.

Into The Stars is slated for Steam Early Access this summer on PC and Mac.
