The adorable farming simulation game Kamaeru: A Frog Refuge, created by Humble Reeds and released by Armor Games Studios, will be heading to the Nintendo Switch when it launches concurrently with the PC via Steam version that was originally revealed for 2024.
Put yourself in Cleo’s position; she is in need of a well-earned vacation. Reestablishing her friendship with her boyhood buddy Axel, Cleo travels back to her hometown to assist him in a restoration project in which they will reconstruct their neighborhood wetlands and provide a haven for Axel’s favorite animals—frogs!

Transform the wetlands into a tranquil haven from a parched wasteland. Arrange furnishings all over this blank canvas, such as plush couches, slick slides, or cool bathtubs, for the enjoyment of over 500 froggy buddies from 8 distinct species! Gather materials and turn them into products to sell in order to raise more money for retreat improvements.
Create ponds, engage in paludiculture (a fancy term for wetland crops), and extend a warm greeting to curious onlookers in order to draw in as many vibrant croakers as you can. Cleo and Axel will find more variants the more frogs that enter the sanctuary. Complete the Frogedex by taking pictures and recording new breeds, as they all have different eating habits and patterns. Meet twelve unique personalities who are prepared to assist in restoring the wetlands in three different biomes.
