The world can be such an exhausting and ugly place. Full of sharp corners, harsh lights, and deadlines to meet. What a drab. Maybe it’s time to wind down and enjoy the small things in life, at least for a moment. And what can be better than cozying up with the new upcoming indie delivery game, Mail Time! Developed by Kela van der Deijl and published by Freedom Games, this “relaxing, cottagecore adventure” truly lives up to its wholesome reputation.
Play as the optimistic mail scout-in-training in a welcoming world with no dangers, no time constraints, and no worries. Great for those who like the calming nature and daily tasks of games like Animal Crossing, Mail Time is simple in its game mechanics and narrative. The main objective is for players to deliver letters throughout the forest and making some friends along the way. From sassy mammals to even a sweet, lovely snail, the many inhabitants of Grumblewood Grove are sure to enlighten players with their unique personalities and requests.
Walk on the forest floor, bounce across mushroom tops, or glide your way via your delivery letters, you can play however you like and whenever you like. Easy going and adorable, just about everything in Mail Time feels as if it was created from your favorite soft, warm blanket. This game is also family friendly, appropriate for most ages, and absolutely nails the theme with its lovely art style. If the Mail Time Demo was just an amuse-bouche of how this indie game is like throughout, then it’s a great sign to what’s to come with the full release in April 2023.
You can wishlist Mail Time right now for PC via Steam.

Video games have always been a huge influence in my life and have definitely shaped me to who I am today . Some of my best memories growing up were the many adventures and stories I was able to experience and become immersed in. If my hands aren't either covered in clay, typing, editing, creating, or helping shoving food in my mouth, they would either be gripped to a controller, tapping away at the screen of my phone, or clicking away on my PC. I am always up for trying something new because why live just one life when you can live many.
