AUSTIN, Texas — The National Academy of Video Game Trade Reviewers (NAVGTR) a non-profit media organization, has announced nominations for its 16th annual awards program honoring video game art, technology, and production.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End received 16 nominations, including a Game of the Year nomination.

Direction in a Game Cinema
Game Design, Franchise
Game Engineering
Game of the Year
Game, Franchise Adventure
Graphics, Technical
Lighting/Texturing
Original Dramatic Score, Franchise
Performance in a Drama, Supporting
Sound Editing in a Game Cinema
Sound Effects
Use of Sound, Franchise
Writing in a Drama
Developers Neil Druckmann and Phil Kovats received three nominations each for their work and are waiting to be certified for the official record.

As many as 235 individuals are in the process of being certified for nominations. Developers, publishers, marketers, publicists, and reps are encouraged to contact the academy for more information.
Nominees were determined by 1,195 press voters in 60 competitive categories. Voters nearly doubled in numbers from last year.
