On October 10, Bloodless, a hidden treasure from 3D Realms and Point N’ Sheeps, will be released on the Nintendo Switch. Take a retro-styled 2D souls-like adventure with Tomoe, a ronin who gave up her blade. In order to reclaim Bakugawa, Tomoe’s native territory, from the merciless grasp of Shogun Akechi, you must disarm your adversaries in non-lethal warfare. Bloodless, which has a trial available right now on Steam, debuted earlier this summer to favorable reviews from critics and users.
You’ve given up your weapon and vowed never to draw blood again in Bloodless. Use your bare hands to disarm your erstwhile allies in brutal, non-lethal fighting, putting them at a disadvantage. Learn how to use the dash counter, then alter your playstyle to unleash devastating assaults that will knock your enemies to the ground. As you fight to rescue Bakugawa’s exquisitely drawn pixel-art universe from Shogun Akechi’s grasp and restore harmony to the place you once called home, explore it.
Bloodless Key Features:
- Unique Non-Lethal Combat: Master a mix of deft counters and potent ki-attacks to vanquish your adversaries. Tomoe has vowed never to take another life
- Depth & Customization: Utilize specific ki skills to create one-of-a-kind combinations, along with improvements from crests and herb infusions that can be found all across Bakugawa
- Striking Environments: Discover Bakugawa’s disadvantaged neighborhoods and hallowed natural settings. Bakugawa is home to a corrupt and ruthless military dictatorship
- Emotional Storytelling: To give Bakugawa the bravery and hope he needs to fight back, Tomoe, who is despised by her own people and is considered a coward, must go back to her old country
- Extra Challenges: By gathering the Warrior Idols strewn all throughout Bakugawa and accessing the Arenas, you can test your mettle
