Becoming a serial killer or just killing people is all around a terrible thing to do. Yes, those people were partying too loudly, and yes, maybe angry biker gangs are keeping you from your sleep; that doesn’t mean killing them is an option. Or maybe it is, and in multiple, creative ways in tiny Build GAMES, Party Hard 2!
You play as a serial killer with a unique vendetta towards drunken and drugged up party goers. You may be a bad person for murdering people but are you really that bad if that also meant taking down a large and corrupt drug syndicate? Still maybe, but that’s not a question you need to worry about when playing this amusing game.
Throughout the different episodes you will soon learn to master the art of stalking and striking at the perfect time. Wits and creativity become as lethal as your trusty knife as you utilize the environment around you to make that perfectly timed execution. However, be careful of wandering eyes as your hunting grounds are crowded with both civilians and guards. Although many NPC’s in the game are drunken and stumbling around, they won’t hesitate to call the cops if they catch you red-handed. Security personnel are even worse since they aren’t afraid to chase you down either. Your best options are too run, hide, and maybe set up some more booby traps to up your body count.
Objects found in your surroundings become great assets in your deadly spree. Items such as Molotov cocktails, gas cans, or stun grenades are useful in plotting larger death combos. However, if intimate kills are more your style, the old-fashion stab and hide bodies in nearby trash cans are just as fun, too.
Party Hard 2 certainly keeps your mind alert as every time you play most NPC’s and items are in different locations. Once you’ve learned how to navigate through some of the predictable patterns of the characters and developed your own homicidal tactics, it becomes very easy to get caught up in the game. Addicting and hard to stop when you start, this strategy game will have you ignoring the time, just so you can try to hit all your objectives.
With that being said, it is also easy to become frustrated as a full half hour of meticulous planning can quickly go down the drain with one false move. It is tricky to stealthily kill throughout the game, but so incredibly easy to get caught and for the whole level to restart again. So, while you are worrying about guards or the police on your trail, remember that the biggest obstacles are your own small mistakes.
In conclusion, Party Hard 2 is entertaining with its upbeat track, retro-style look, and how it constantly keeps you focused. However, be prepared to go through levels multiple times and have a stress ball nearby. If you have a hard time controlling your temper, this game may not be for you, but if you like testing your ingenuity and resourcefulness then go and party hard like there’s no tomorrow.
Pros: Addicting, challenging, with many fun Easter eggs sprinkled throughout.
Cons: Can become very frustrating, minimal instructions given and you learn as you go.

Video games have always been a huge influence in my life and have definitely shaped me to who I am today . Some of my best memories growing up were the many adventures and stories I was able to experience and become immersed in. If my hands aren't either covered in clay, typing, editing, creating, or helping shoving food in my mouth, they would either be gripped to a controller, tapping away at the screen of my phone, or clicking away on my PC. I am always up for trying something new because why live just one life when you can live many.
