Darksburg is a multiplayer survival game, developed by Shiro Games. During PAX East 2019, we tried our hands on the game and went through a Co-Op round. Darksburg lets you control one of the four characters and it is a 4-man party game. The environment of the Darksburg is from medieval times, very similar to Victor Vran.
The camera angles are certainly like Diablo in Darksburg, but then the game has hordes of zombies coming at you and you must survive through those waves. As we moved further into the levels, things just started getting tougher. Darksburg is a game that actually focuses on Co-Op because if you make a mistake it will be harder to regain your progress. You’ll either die or your team mates won’t be able to revive you because they are focused on killing zombies. During our first play through we realized that thist was going to be the case. Overall, Darksburg looks promising as a multiplayer survival game, and we are definitely looking forward to the full release.
Darksburg will come out on Consoles and PC via Steam this year.
