PAX East 2019: SOLE Impressions

Journey was a really soothing and mesmerizing game and during PAX East 2019, we came across one such similar game that was inspired by Journey itself – Sole. Sole is created by a new Philly-based developer, Gossamer Games.

Sole is one of the most beautiful games that we’ve played, where you are a fragment of light in the world of darkness. As we played through the levels, plants kept coming back to life. Sole is very much about beautiful exploration and puzzle solving. Overall, we had to try to figure out what to do and where to go to different places and make things work. The great thing about Sole is that there is such great background music playing that keeps you calm all the time. The game is showing some inspiration from Journey, and we loved it!

Sole is going to be released on Xbox and Windows PC/Mac via Steam this year, and will follow on to the other platforms later on.
