The first-person sci-fi “clean-’em-up” Ambrosia Sky tells a chilling story of humanity’s struggle for existence. Gamers assume control of Dalia, a catastrophe specialist from deep space who has been sent to her home, The Cluster, a dilapidated space colony in Saturn’s rings. Her task was to eradicate an erratic alien fungal infestation, investigate its peculiar source, and bury the numerous victims of the colony. By fusing cutting-edge action with personal themes like survivor’s guilt and death positivity, Ambrosia Sky invites the player to reflect on the mutually beneficial interaction between nature and humanity.
Ambrosia Sky Key Features:
-
Cleanse the Contamination. The distinctive gameplay of Ambrosia Sky combines contemplative cleaning with first-person shooter action. To survive the mounting crisis, use your chemical sprayer to clean the alien fungus, collect its fruit, and enhance your equipment.
-
Discover an Alien Ecosystem. The characteristics and actions of each species of alien fungus vary; some will hunt you down, while others may electrify or explode.
-
Research and Update Your Equipment. Create new kinds of ammunition that imitate the fungus’s capabilities. To better navigate and explore the colony’s unstable gravity fields, improve your tether, make new spray varieties, or increase the efficiency of your sprayer.
-
Navigate Zero-G Environments. Navigate the Cluster’s perilous areas of unstable gravity. Utilize your tether to seize things, discover nooks and crannies within the colony, and investigate areas where sudden changes in gravity can cause abrupt changes in strength and direction.
-
Lay the Dead to Rest. Find the terrible victims of the catastrophe and bury them in moving moments that solve the puzzle of what went wrong and why.
Ambrosia Sky is heading soon to PC via Steam. You can wishlist the game right now.
