The strategy role-playing game “Be the Ruler: Britannia,” developed by BeardedBrothers.Games, has a free demo that may now be accessed via Steam. Players from all around the world are welcome to download the demo and check out the special fusion of role-playing and strategy in the backdrop of medieval England.
Playing as Alfred the Great, who takes the throne in difficult circumstances after his brother’s untimely death, “Be the Ruler: Prologue” immerses players in the historical fabric of medieval England. This sample, which lasts for about 20 minutes of gameplay, gives players an early peek at the strategic depth and fascinating story of the game.

Players will have to negotiate the convoluted political environment of the time in “Be the Ruler: Prologue,” making choices that will affect Wessex’s destiny.
