Rebellion Launches Landing Force DLC for Sniper Elite 5

Rebellion has launched Landing Force DLC for Sniper Elite 5. Opening locks and breaching flood defenses was just one way the Nazis kept the Allied Forces at bay. Drawing inspiration from this tactic, and images of Normandy during the events of D-Day, Rebellion is bringing you a brand new multiplayer map. ‘Flooded Village’ is free to all players and available in all multiplayer modes, including No Cross.

This new map offers a number of great vantage points (ideal for No Cross) and a unique set of challenges and opportunities for solo and team based multiplayer warfare – be sure to explore the lowlands, causeway, and railway bridge!

Also just launched is the first selection of content from Season Pass One, including a thrilling new mission and two new weapons. Taking place on its own sprawling island off the coast of southern France, the new ‘Landing Force’ mission sees you infiltrating the once luxury resort turned coastal defense – and it’s armed to the teeth! Available to buy either as part of the Landing Force Mission and Weapon Pack or as part of the full Season Pass One, the new content is live digital stores now.

In addition, two new weapons have been launched! For stealth play, there is the D.L. Carbine, with its integrated suppressor and subsonic ammunition, it’s one of the most quiet firearms ever made. Eliminating targets at long-range, producing only a mere whisper, it makes for the perfect weapon for covert operations behind enemy lines.

And for the more bombastic moments, there is the PPSH submachine gun – firing at an astonishing rate of over 1100 rounds per minute. It’s often referred to as the “burp gun” thanks to the noise it creates when fired.

The PPSH is the perfect “get out of jail” card for those moments when things go wrong! Hold down the trigger and let the carnage commence. But remember, a gun that gets through rounds as quickly as this will also need a bigger magazine – so be sure to search out the hidden workbenches to unlock the 71-round drum.

Both of the new weapons and the Landing Force mission are available to buy now as part of the Landing Force Mission and Weapon Pack or as part of Season Pass One.

The Flooded Village multiplayer map is free to all players now while the P.1938 Suppressed pistol, previously only available as a pre-order item, is also now available to purchase. See the latest Content Roadmap for Sniper Elite 5 below.
