Start the New Year Off in Red Dead Online with Bonuses on A Land of Opportunities Missions, Call to Arms, Gang Hideouts, and the Featured Series
Plus a Month’s Worth of Persistent Posse Rewards
Aiding the widowed Jessica LeClerk in avenging her late husband in A Land of Opportunities Missions will earn you 2X RDO$, XP, and Gold anytime over the next four weeks. Meanwhile, completing the finale “Destroyed By Grief” will land you an Offer for 5 Gold Bars off the Butcher Table, Collector’s Bag, Moonshine Shack, Sample Kit, or either of the Bounty Hunter Licenses.
Set up your defenses, fend off attackers, and defend allies from an onslaught in Call to Arms to receive 3X Ability Card XP until February 1.
All Featured Series will be dishing out 2X RDO$ and XP throughout the month. See below for a timeline detailing what’s available in each upcoming week and gear up accordingly.
January 6–10: Team Shootout Series (Hardcore)
- Play with a Persistent Posse during this week to receive a Reward for 2,000 XP
- Win a match in this week’s Featured Series for an Offer for 30% off any Revolver
- Complete a standard Bounty along with a Legendary or Infamous Bounty to receive a Reward for a free Ability Card
January 11–17: Shootout Series (Hardcore)
- Turn in this week’s Weekly Collection by returning Tennessee Whiskey, Irish Whiskey, and Scotch Whiskey to Madam Nazar to receive a Treasure Map leading you to loot buried beneath what once was a battlefield
- Participate in a round of Call to Arms with your Persistent Posse to get a free Treasure Map leading you to a haul beneath North Tumbleweed
- Win a match in this week’s Featured Series to receive an Offer for 30% off a Revolver
January 18–24: Takeover Series (Hardcore)
- Complete any Blood Money Opportunity alongside your Persistent Posse to receive a Reward for 25 Capitale
- Hunt or sample any Legendary Animal to receive 100 rounds of Split-Point Rifle Ammo
- Participate in a Nominated Series this week or the next to receive an Offer for 30% off a Repeater
January 25–31: Team Gun Rush (Hardcore)
- Participate in the Featured Series playlist with a Persistent Posse to receive a free Porter Jacket
- Complete a Trader or Moonshiner Sell Mission to receive the Benbow Jacket
- Participate in a Nominated Series to get an Offer for 30% off a Repeater
Double RDO$ and XP for Gang Hideouts
If you stumble upon any Gang Hideouts while out and about on your travels, make sure to wipe them off the face of the frontier, as they’ll be paying out 2X RDO$ and XP, with increased chances of finding Capitale on felled foes, as well.
Returning Limited-Time Clothing
Get yourself a new look: a smattering of limited-time clothing is returning to local Tailors and the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue. Make sure to pick up the Irwin Coat, Salter Shoes, Cossack Hat, Furred Gloves, Darned Stockings, Tied Pants, and a Fanned Stovepipe Hat before February 1.

Step your armaments up by taking advantage of waived rank requirements on the Lancaster Repeater, Double Action Revolver, and Semi Auto Shotgun at local Gunsmiths and within the pages of the Catalogue.
Provisions often make the difference between surviving and thriving out in the elements. Don’t make your next adventure an exercise in lean living, especially when the following fresh food items are free for the next four weeks: Tender Pork Loin, Mature Venison Meat, Prime Beef Joint, Cheese Wedges, Salted Beef, Bartlett Pears, Fresh Peaches, Local Carrots, Hand-Picked Corn, and Orchard Apples.

In the spirit of gathering with friendly faces to start new beginnings, all Persistent Posse fees are waived until February 1. Meanwhile, all Persistent Posse leaders will receive the “Hell Yeah” Emote for logging in to play Red Dead Online at any point before February 1.
Prime Gaming Benefits
Red Dead Online players who connect their Rockstar Games Social Club account to Prime Gaming through January 17 will get Rewards for a free Bolt Action Rifle and Coat. Those players who connect to Prime Gaming between January 18 and February 14 will receive a Reward for a free pair of select Pants and an Offer for 30% off an Arabian Horse.
