Rock Band and Dance Central Website Servers Attacked

Harmonix announced that its Rock Band and Dance Central website servers have apparently been attacked and that users should take precautions by changing their passwords.

Presently, all of the websites have been taken down while Harmonix tries to figure out how the attack occurred. While there is no indication that any user information was compromised, Harmonix is strongly recommending anyone who registered on any of its present or past sites, and are using the same password elsewhere to change it for safety purposes.

Once the websites are back up and running, users will be requested to change their passwords before being allowed to log back in.
