Let’s face it, the 80s was such an iconic decade. Everything from the music, the rebellion, and anything in between; those were truly unforgettable years. For some, the 80s were just fun moments of their lives, but to a certain teddy bear, it’s his entire personality. Developed by Valterri Tavast and published by Instant Million, Rock N’ Roll Will Never Die! will put you in the front row seat of seeing a small bear going through his very own midlife crisis. Follow along in this point-and-click adventure game as this middle-aged bear brings his old bandmates back together. Brace yourself for the dad jokes, animal puns, and nostalgic references, it’s time to get this show on the road!
Sure, the times have changed, but that doesn’t mean he needs to give up on his Hair Metal Days. Bringing back the past is all the rage now and what the kids call retro, swaggy, and fire. And there’s nothing more fire than Rock and Roll. Yes, he may be an old teddy bear that needs to monitor his insulin and is growing ever closer to getting senior discounts, but he can still rock with the best of them. He just needs to find his old mates, persuade them to momentarily leave their adult responsibilities behind, and start rocking. Should be easy right?
Wrong, it’s not, because although Teddy is somewhat of an alcoholic, jobless, freeloader, his friends have moved on to other parts of their lives. He will have to convince them with words of persuasion and the occasional manipulation. Keep a keen eye on certain objects in the environment as they may come in handy in progressing the story. Clues are not always obvious and can only be partnered with certain objects or areas on the map. If the items in your inventory don’t seem to trigger the storyline to progress, continue to look for more or activate the environment in a different way. Trial and error will be your friends on this journey to stardom and outside the box thinking is highly encouraged.
Being a rockstar may look glamorous, but it’s also built on hard work, tenacity, and maybe a little showboating for promoters as well. It’s not necessarily a stable and family-friendly career path, but for this aging teddy bear, it’s all worth it. The loud music, the rambunctious energy, and the dubious partying is what feeds his soul. Rock and roll may be immortal, but life is short and fleeing. So, party on and grab that can of hair spray; it’s time to make some questionable choices.
PROS: Funky characters, art style, and long storyline. A casual play.
CONS: Easy to forget where you left off at, connecting clues isn’t obvious and feels random.

Video games have always been a huge influence in my life and have definitely shaped me to who I am today . Some of my best memories growing up were the many adventures and stories I was able to experience and become immersed in. If my hands aren't either covered in clay, typing, editing, creating, or helping shoving food in my mouth, they would either be gripped to a controller, tapping away at the screen of my phone, or clicking away on my PC. I am always up for trying something new because why live just one life when you can live many.
