Seoul – Nexon Korea’s Romance of the Three Kingdoms: The Legend of CaoCao (RoTK), the mobile remake of the classic turn-based tactical role-playing simulation grand strategy wargame from NEXON Korea Corporation, now offers fans a highly-anticipated content update. Providing new and experienced RoTK players a fresh story campaign and special limited-time events for in-game rewards, the update is now available in North America and Southeast Asia on Google Play and the App Store.

Based on the celebrated Romance of the Three Kingdoms series, RoTK: The Legend of CaoCao’s tight mechanics and addictive gameplay beckons players to join CaoCao in his legendary quest to dominate the titular Three Kingdoms. To defeat formidable enemies, players must assemble an elite team of commanders and reenact tales of legendary heroes. RoTK’s unique gameplay includes complex yet intuitive strategic mechanics, retro combat for the modern gamer, asynchronous PvP battles and co-op modes to build and command an empire with friends. The Gongsun Zan update adds several new gameplay features and special events, such as:

Immense Gongsun Zan Campaign – Players will take command of the formidable “White Horse General” Gongsun Zan and his elite cavalry units spanning 9 episodes covering the general’s most important battles defending the northern and eastern frontiers of the Han Empire. Players who complete the campaign will receive rare rewards, including:
- Normal Difficulty: HP Accessory Strong Chainmail;
- Extreme Difficulty: 4★ Accessory Gongsun Zan’s Yinam White Horse with Rough Terrain Move;
Epic Battleground Mode – Warlords ready for increased challenge can enter the Battleground Mode. Players who have already unified their kingdom can conquer new lands, such as 5 neutral domains located on a variety of terrain types, including Grasslands, Swamps and Wastelands;
Special In-game Events – Celebrate the Gongsun Zan update with with a plethora of in-game events and receive valuable items valued at more than $600 to kickstart the new campaign, such as:
- Empty Your Coffers Event – Warlords who spend a significant amount of gold with receive:

  - Permit Types x3
  - Archive x100
  - Artifact Piece x200
  - Jade Seal x7,000
  - Ration x2,800,000
  - Silver Coin x2,800,000;
- Quest Clear Event – Clear ‘Quest’ content 100, 200, and 300 times will obtain rare items;
- Commander Promotion Event – Promote commanders to various levels and receive powerful rewards;
- Total Annihilation Event – Participate in “Annihilation” mode 20 and 40 times to receive additional gifts.
