SATISFACTORY by Coffee Stain Heading to Steam Early Access June 8

Coffee Stain Studios, original development studio of Goat Simulator and Sanctum, announced that their first-person factory building sim,  Satisfactory,  will head to Steam Early Access on June 8th.

Satisfactory was first revealed in 2018 and went into Early Access exclusively on the Epic Games Store last year. The game is set on a beautiful alien planet and encourages players to construct multi-storey factories to harvest the world’s natural resources for megacorporation, FICSIT Inc.

Satisfactory combines construction, automation, exploration and a dash of combat. Players must optimize their factories, streamlining production for the greedy corporation all while encountering  hostile alien lifeforms or making new friends with little lizard doggos.

Since the reveal in 2018, Satisfactory has seen three major updates, which have included:

  • A complete rebalance of the game
  • Access to new energy resources with Nuclear Power Plants and a whole set of new radioactive challenges
  • A dynamic wind system with Jump Pads that affect creatures and physical objects too, for lots of satisfying bouncy chaos
  • A new train and track system
  • A new starting area to explore in the redesigned Dune Desert
  • New end-game biomes – the Swamp, Red Jungle and Bamboo Fields – bringing exotic new flora and fauna for players to admire and exploit
  • PIPES! The community’s most requested feature launched earlier this year adding a new layer of complexity, allowing pioneers to command the flow of Fluid Oil resources and harness the power of the Water Extractor

Satisfactory is heading to Steam Early Access June 8, 2020. You can wishlist the game right now.
