In a press release sent to Gaming Cypher this morning, Bitbox Games and Tragnarion Studios announced that the PS3 version of Scourge Outbreak is now available.
Palma de Mallorca, January 14th, 2015.Tragnarion Studios and Bitbox Games are proud to announce that Scourge: Outbreak, their futuristic squad-based 3rd person shooter, is now available in PlayStation Network for PS3 (11/12/14 SCE, 12/9/14 SCEA) after being already successfully released for Xbox360, PC and Mac.
In Scourge: Outbreak players assume the role of one of Echo Squad’s 4 characters, each with their own stats and unique ‘Ambrosia’ ability, in their mission through Nogari Corporation’s research facilities. Blasting hordes of genetically resurrected beings and die-hard special forces, Echo Squad will unveil the dark secrets Nogari is keeping.
Scourge: Outbreak is best suited for playing with friends, offering 8-player online PvP modes (Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture The Flag) in 15 action filled maps and more than 6 hours single player or co-op campaign.
PS3 version includes Scourge: Outbreak plus the DLC “Blindside” and all the improvements and patches over the original game as well as bots for multiplayer, making it the most complete release up to date.
There will be a demo version of the game that includes the first chapters of the campaign (around 30 minutes of gameplay). Also includes the ‘Crash’ PvP map, playable online in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Capture The Flag modes. XP Ranks and Perks are capped at Rank 5, but will carry over once the full version is bought. The price is 9.99€/7.99£ (SCEE) or 7.99$ (SCEA).
