Haarlem, The Netherlands- After over 5 years in the making, developers Interactive Fate and indie publisher Iceberg Interactive are beyond excited to announce that their award-winning rogue-like space simulation game, Shortest Trip to Earth, will be fully released on Steam on August 15, 2019. This follows a successful Early Access launch, where players have praised the game as “better than 98% of other Early Access games” and “the best game that [they] have ever purchased”.
Edvin Aedma, lead developer and CEO of Interactive Fate says:
“Releasing the full version of Shortest Trip is a dream come true, and I really hope the players will reap the benefits of the hard work and passion we have put into the game. The new easier game mode and features like crafting should make the game more enjoyable to players who prefer a less stressful experience.”
Shortest Trip to Earth is a roguelike spaceship simulator focused on exploration, ship management and tactical battles. The game gives players the story of a space captain travelling home at the backdrop of a raging intergalactic war. Each playable ship starts with armed crew, nuclear missiles and a cat.
Shortest Trip to Earth is available for PC for $19.99 via Steam Early Access. The game will fully launch next week, August 15, 2019.
