Earlier today, Konami and Bloober team announced Silent Hill 2 with a stunning new video:
In addition, it was announced that Silent Hill 2 will be a PlayStation 5 and Steam exclusive release, at least for the first year after its release. It was also announced that Konami will team up with the 2006 Silent Hill director, Christophe Gans, to make a new movie based on Silent Hill 2.
Konami is also working on two brand new Silent Hill experiences. Silent Hill: Ascension, which appears as an interactive, multiplayer, visual novel-like game where you get to decide what happens and who lives and dies and without a “reset button.” The second experience revealed is Silent Hill: Townfall, which being developed along with No Code Studio and Annapurna Interactive.
And let’s also talk about another new game, Silent Hill F, which appears to take place in Japan. At the end of the trailer, a girl’s flesh just peels off her face and spore-like tentacles grow out of circular holes in discarded bodies right before growing into red spider lilies.
