17-BIT’s skull-slashing Samurai-inspired strategy game is available for players to download and play now on the Nintendo eShop
LOS ANGELES, CA – Publishers 612 Games and Golem Entertainment announced today that Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-A-Fide Edition, 17-BIT’s highly tactical and hilariously scripted Samurai-inspired turn-based strategy game, is out today on the Nintendo eShop priced at $19.99 (or regional equivalent).
Inviting players to enter the Samurai Afterlife to join forces with vibrant Ghost-Samurai warriors, magical animal-monks, and mustachioed Samurai Generals, Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-A-Fide Edition, is the Nintendo Switch iteration of the critically acclaimed title from the multi-award winning Kyoto based indie development studio, 17-BIT.
Set in Feudal Japan, Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-A-Fide Edition sees players take on the role of the late great General Akamoto, Japan’s mightiest Samurai General who is stabbed in the back by an unknown assailant on the eve of his greatest battle. Players must command Akamoto and his army of soldiers, leading them through the four regions of the Samurai afterlife, to take back what was stolen from the should-be Shogun.
