SLAY THE PRINCESS Horror Visual Novel Celebrates More than 200,000 Copies Sold with Content Patch

With new animations and over 3,000 words of expanded and reorganized dialogue options and discussions, Slay the Princess’s first significant content update enhances endgame content. Take in multiple recently uploaded orchestral recordings of the Czech National Symphony Orchestra’s dramatic tracks.

As part of a unique Steam Midweek Madness deal, get 20% off and join more than 200,000 other regicide attempters. With the Cabins in the Woods bundle, Slay the Princess also teams up with two more games that feature cabins that are completely unsuspicious. Get an extra 10% off each game when you pick up Slay the Princess, Inscryption, and What Remains of Edith Finch.

A straightforward command is given by the Narrator (voiced by Jonathan Sims of The Magnus Archives) to enter the cabin, retrieve the dagger, and kill the Princess (voiced by Nichole Goodnight). Death merely leads back to the cottage, so things rapidly take an interesting turn. Every conversation option opens up new avenues, gradually exposing a Princess who evolves with every life.

Through Monday, April 8, the free update for Slay the Princess is available on Steam for PC, Mac, Linux, and Steam Deck for $17.99 (for the base game), with a 20% Steam Midweek Madness discount. What Remains of Edith Finch and Inscryption are also included in the “Cabins in the Woods” bundle discount, which is 10% off of each game in the collection.
