The first game content based on the series to be released before the debut on June 4 is Game Update 7.5 “Desperate Defiance,” which was issued by the Star Wars: The Old Republic development team. It features the newly unveiled gear inspired by The Acolyte. The upcoming chapter of the main plot, a new farmstead where players can raise crops, the first of many upcoming single-player adventures, and other things are all anticipated by players in “Desperate Defiance.”
Star Wars: The Old Republic Update 7.5 key features:
- The Cartel Market offers the following Acolyte inspired products: The Cartel Market window now has a new Inspire By tab that players will notice. The Serpent’s Tongue Vibroblade, inspired by The Acolyte, and the Dark Harbinger Armor set are available to players under this category. Additionally, the Appearance Options: Loyal Adherent Hairstyles Bundle includes a Wookiee Jedi with customizable hair and beard.
- The “Desperate Defiance” chapter of the new main story: Following the events of “Chains in the Dark,” players will be able to recruit Sa’har as a new ally and embark on a perilous quest to recover the holocron, which may reveal additional information about Heta’s schemes. Amidst a labor uprising in the Minboosa District, players will also return to Hutta.
- Spring Abundance Festival and Dantooine farmhouse: In Star Wars: The Old Republic, players will have the opportunity to take a break from fighting and take up the role of farmhouse caretaker on Dantooine. After completing a brief story arc that introduces them to the farmhouse, players will receive an almost unbelievable offer in which they will be granted a plot of land to tend to. Players can participate in a variety of events during the Spring Abundance Festival, such as a galaxy egg search, dancing, baking pies, and seed collection. Numerous awards, including as costumes, mounts, miniature pets, decorations, and more, are available to players.
- The First of Many Solo Player Adventures: The Basilisk Prototype will be the first of many difficult solo “Ventures” that will be added to the game. This venture, which is all about training up the Basilisk Prototype B3-S1, commonly known as Bessie, is intimately related to the current Lane Vizla plot. The player may employ this prototype as a companion for brief periods of time. To make B3-S1 a lifelong partner, players will need to gradually focus on training it to reach its full battle potential and capabilities.
- New PVP Seasons Release Schedule: From Update 7.5 onwards, PvP seasons will now start the day an update is released. PVP Season 6 “Great Pirate Hunt” will start when Update 7.5 is released.
- Cartel Market Updates: Update 7.5 will bring with it the High-Republic styled Refined Mentor Lightsaber, Dualsaber, Armor set, and Hidden Chain Jetpack Mount. Additional player character customizations are also available, such as the Ahsoka-inspired Baylan beard and upgraded dye packs.
