Restore the World in Zen VR Puzzler Symphony of the Machine, Coming to PlayStation VR, HTC Vive in Q1 2017

PERTH, AUSTRALIA – Oct. 10, 2016 – Symphony of the Machine, a VR puzzle game where players manipulate a mysterious tower to control the weather and restore life to a post-apocalyptic world, emerges on PlayStation VR and HTC Vive in Q1 2017.
In Symphony of the Machine players awaken in a lifeless sun-scorched desert. A strange tower looming in the distance harbors a powerful beam of light. When directed at glyphs on the tower, the light causes the area’s weather to change from scenes like blistering heat to refreshing thunderstorms. Creating the perfect climate for multiple forms of life is the key to cultivating a new world.

Light can be directed and manipulated with tools positioned via motion controls, making Symphony of the Machine‘s puzzle solving as physically immersive as it is mentally stimulating. Some solutions may require a simple bend of the beam, while others call for more critical thinking involving splitting and filtering light to achieve the desired elements
Symphony of the Machine‘s universe is ambiguous, but the tower and its surrounding terrain provides subtle clues of the greater meta-story, what mysterious events disfigured a once thriving ecosystem into a desolate wasteland.

The experience is uninterrupted by narration or text.  These subtle design choices in combination with a serene soundtrack enable total immersion in the world and its secrets.
“Puzzle solving is often thought of as stressful or frustrating, but every decision we’ve made nurtures a meditative ambience,” said Vee Pendergrast, Managing Director of Stirfire Studios. “Symphony of the Machine encourages players to relax and experiment with their surroundings as they breathe new life into a fragile planet.”
