The Amazing Spider Man 2 Delayed for Xbox One

Developer Beenox Studio and Activision have delayed the Xbox One release of The Amazing Spider Man 2 indefinitely.

The game sku has been removed from its official website. An Activision update confirmed that,

“We want to inform you that we are revising our release plans for ASM2 on Xbox One. When and whether ASM2 is released on Xbox One is TBD.”

A reason has not been given for the delay or even cancellation. It’s interesting to note, however, that many retailers continue to take pre-orders for the game.

The Amazing Spider Man 2 video game is scheduled to release April 29 in North America and May 2 in Europe for PS4 and PS3 and then for 3DS, PC, Wii U, and Xbox 360. It will also be released for Android, iOS and Windows Phone sometime this year.
