Players must learn how to use the recognizable wall run, which lets them quickly bridge gaps, dodge traps, and outwit opponents, in order to master the platforming sections. The Prince must use all of his acrobatic abilities to discover a safe path through procedurally generated levels made of a variety of vibrant biomes, inspired by Persian architecture, from the aqueduct to the majestic academy via the untamed gardens.
Players will face a variety of foes in addition to the dangers posed by the environment, including Huns who use dark shamanic magic and creatures who have been corrupted by it. There are several different weapon options to fit any playstyle, including broadswords, axes, spears, and twin daggers. The use of secondary weapons, such as grappling hooks, shields, and arrows, expands the scope of warfare even further! The Prince becomes a formidable fighter by combining these moves with the wall run, shoulder vault, kick, and stomp, which also gives each run its own uniqueness.
Persian-American electronic music producer and performance artist ASADI is responsible for the game’s soundtrack’s composition and production. Players will be submerged in a contemporary and grandiose view of Persian folklore thanks to his skill and inventiveness. The Original Soundtrack of The Rogue Prince of Persia blends classic and contemporary sonorities, with rhythms that enhance the Prince’s movements and fluidity.
The Evil Empire studio gains from a strong foundation in 2D action-platforming rogue-lite gaming. They went to Ubisoft with their own spin on the Prince of Persia franchise, which is renowned for its inventive spirit and top-notch gameplay, wanting to embark on a completely new project. In order to collaborate with the community and create the greatest game possible with the players, Ubisoft, the publisher, and Evil Empire, the developer, decided to release the game in Early Access on Steam, building upon the refined heart that already existed. Players can anticipate the arrival of new bosses, levels, weapons, foes, and upgrades throughout time, in addition to changes depending on input from the community. The plot ends abruptly in-game for now, but there will be more!
