The eSports domain is expanding rapidly, and there are no signs of stopping the progressive standards. Along with entertainment and traveling, people have given in to eSports completely after the pandemic strike. The platform for online gaming has increased along with the growing number of audience. The eSports genre became a steady income source for both developers and gamers. According to reports, the overall count for gaming audiences is expected to reach 577.8 billion by the end of 2024.
The pandemic witnessed major growth and success of live streaming platforms that led to a universal reach of eSports. Most traditional events were canceled for two years, but fortunately, things have changed now. Major tournaments and events have returned to their physical mode of convention, and here we go celebrating the best events and leagues of 2023.
The International 2023
The venue is yet to be announced for one of the biggest eSports events. It was held for two days in the winter major, December 11 – 12, 2022 for Spring major and summer major, the dates are March 13 – 14 and May 15 – 24, respectively. This being the twelfth run of the event is nicknamed ‘The International 12’. It concludes the year with the Dota Pro Circuit or DPC. It is the culmination of the year-long competitive play option with DPC. Each of these years consists of three options: Winter, spring, and summer. An individual tour includes one Regional League and a big tournament. The competing teams get an opportunity to receive DPC points at the time of tours.
Each of these regional leagues features a round-robin tournament, providing winning teams a route to competing in the season’s Major. The Majors play in an elimination style. The top 12 teams with the most number of DPC points get a secured position at the International 2023. The team that wins the Internal 2023 becomes Dota 2 World Champions.
Call of Duty 2023
Call of Duty is a staple in the competitive esports landscape and the defining title of the entire FPS genre. After launching in unison in 2014 with the Pro and World Leagues, COD Esports settled into the Call of Duty League (CDL) in 2020. 2023 will see Toronto host the Call of Duty League and you will be able to bet on the event and other esports at many legal Online Casinos in Ontario. League of Legends Worlds Championship 2023

The next stage is formatted in 2023. 16 teams can play up to 5 rounds of matches in a specific Swiss format. Here teams with similar win-loss records compete with each other till they get 3 losses and 3 wins.
EVO Japan 2023
The venue for the tournament is finalized at Tokyo, Japan. It is a 3-day tournament to be held from March 31, 2023, to April 2, 2023. This year the tournament comes back even stronger as a physical convention. The event will feature game titles The King of Fighters XV, TEKKEN 8, Street Fighter V, and Guilty Gear Strive. Players and fans can engage in serious competition in the Big Sight, a popular convention center in Tokyo. EVO Japan 2023 will exemplify its aura and be a historical event in the eSports domain. The interesting thing is the tournament will be held in Japan, which is the home ground for fighting games.
DreamHack 2023
When it comes to DreamHack and venues, it is a long list. The tournament will be held in Melbourne, Australia; San Diego, CA, USA; Makhuri, Chiba, Japan; Hannover, Germany; Valencia, Spain; Dallas TX, USA; and Hyderabad, India. It will continue from April 2023 to December 2023. DreamHack revolves around the globe and fetches new competitions. All you need to do is bring in your consoles and join other players in games such as StarCraft II Masters and Magic. Players can also sign in for professional competitions for several games like Tekken 7, Street Fighter V, and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. DreamHack creates a space where you can come, connect, explore, win, and play.
CS: GO BLAST Premier: 2023
The tournament will be held at various places, but the venue is yet to be finalized. The Spring Season Final will be held from June 7 to June 11, whereas the Fall Season will be held from November 22 to November 26. And the World Final week will be from December 13 to December 17. The group rounds of both seasons will be in studio events. BLAST Premier is a universal circuit of events delivering elite-level entertainment for everyone.
