Nhi Ho Ngoc Bao, Associate Producer at Ubisoft Da Nang stated, Our team’s extensive experience in adapting multiple titles for mobile platforms allowed us to prioritize early on several key areas. Through these efforts, we are proud to have created an experience that is both enjoyable and inclusive for all players.”
The mobile version, which runs at 60 frames per second on the newest mobile devices, has excellent graphics and fluid gameplay. Players can use touch screen controls or an additional controller to enjoy Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Mobile, which is optimized for smartphones and tablets. Players can change the size, position, and transparency of different control inputs in the game thanks to its extensive control remapping and touch control customization features. Furthermore, special features like auto-potion, auto-parry, slow time settings, and other quality-of-life improvements designed for mobile gaming are introduced in this mobile edition. Included are all the accessibility features from the original game, which took home the 2024 Game Awards’ “Innovation In Accessibility” prize. Additionally, the game provides platform assistance and adjustable complexity for enemy confrontations.
Alexis Denancé, Game Content Director at Ubisoft Da Nang said, “From dynamic buttons with clear visual feedback to Controls remapping, we had a clear plan to adapt the existing complex controls scheme. We also were able to bring in a lot of new quality of life options making platforming and combat easier to handle for the players who want to!”
Players will take on the role of Sargon, a gifted young Persian warrior from the prestigious band known as The Immortals, in this mobile adventure. Players will set out on a quest to free the abducted Prince Ghassan and bring harmony back to a once-magnificent but now-cursed land in the mythological setting of Mount Qaf.
In order to complete stylish combinations and overcome a range of time-corrupted adversaries and mythological creatures in difficult combat, players will use Time Powers, combat skills, and platforming abilities to channel their inner warrior. They will go through a world with Persian influences that is full of impressive sites and intricately linked biomes, each with its own distinct character, wonder, and peril. Players can immerse themselves in Sargon’s story, solve puzzles, find hidden treasures, and finish quests to answer Mount Qaf’s mysteries in this epic adventure game.
For the first three weeks, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will be available for purchase on the App Store and Google Play Store at a special launch offer price of $9.99. The game will then become available for $14.99 starting on May 5.
