  • Saints Row: August 23rd, 2022: The release of Saints Row is coming up fast! This new game offers an updated take on the classic. The setting and characters are new. The tone is different, but the spirit of the game is intact. As the Boss, you will be building a criminal empire with your crew in Santo Ileso, fighting your way through enemies as you increase your power and influence. 
  • Soul Hackers 2: August 26th, 2022: Just a few days after Saints Row lands, we will be able to start playing Soul Hackers 2. This is a long awaited sequel to the 1997 Sega Saturn game Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers. You may recognize the Press Turn system in the sequel from Shin Megami Tensei. You’ll also be captivated by the neon art style. Be sure to swing by your favorite gaming forum to discuss Soul Hackers 2 and the other games on this list with other PlayStation gamers. 
  • Lord of the Rings: Gollum: September 1st, 2022: To kick off September, PlayStation gamers will be able to enjoy this game set in Middle Earth featuring Gollum as the main character. The developer says it is a “stealth-action-adventure with an intriguing dual-personality mechanic, gigantic levels, and a densely wrought aesthetic inspired by Tolkien’s own drawings.” How will a dual-personality mechanic play out? We cannot wait to find out. 
  • The Last of Us Part 1: September 2nd, 2022: Fans of The Last of Us will want to mark down this date on their calendars for the release of The Last of Us: Part 1. This is an overhauled version of The Last of Us, with massive improvements to graphics, combat, facial animations, accessibility, and more. Get ready to experience Ellie and Joel’s emotional journey like never before.    
  • Overwatch 2: October 4th, 2022: If you love playing shooters, then get ready for the release of Overwatch 2, the successor to Blizzard’s original Overwatch. The free-to-play title is going to feature new and upgraded heroes, fresh game modes and maps, brand new formats, premium cosmetics, Story Missions, and more. 
  • Marvel’s Midnight Suns: October 7th, 2022: Coming out in early October, Marvel’s Midnight Suns gives you the chance to play The Hunter, which is the first Marvel character that is customizable. You will have 12 heroes on your team, with the goal of taking down Lillith, Mother of Demons.    
  • A Plague Tale: Requiem: October 18th, 2022: Get ready to join Amicia and Hugo again in the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence. This game will take you to a new setting and give you some fresh mechanics for combat. You will need to help Amicia and Hugo find an island that is critical to Hugo’s survival of his curse. You should strongly consider grabbing the Collector’s Edition, which comes with an amazing statue of Hugo and Amicia. 
  • Gotham Knights: October 25th, 2022: Another big release scheduled for October is Gotham Knights. Join Robin, Batgirl, Red Hood and Nightwing as they fight adversaries in a the “most dynamic interactive Gotham City yet.”    
  • Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2: October 28th, 2022: Don’t miss out on your chance to join Captain Price in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, the sequel to the reboot from 2019. Gamers will be able to enjoy improvements to vehicles, AI and more. 
  • God of War Ragnarok: November 9th, 2022: Last but not least on our list of games coming up soon, we have God of War Ragnarok in early November. It’s time to fight gods and monsters from Norse mythology with Kratos and Atreus.
