The narrative-driven science fiction adventure Whirlight – No Time To Trip will debut on PC via Steam on May 14, 2026, and later this year on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X/S, according to developer imaginarylab.
In addition to the announcement, the team unveiled a brand-new Release Date Trailer that provides a closer look at the game’s time-traveling mystery, vibrant cast of characters, and unique artistic direction that combines rich 3D environments with 2D animation.

In Whirlight – No Time To Trip, players embark on an intricately designed journey that centers on Hector, a brilliant but eccentric inventor whose life descends into chaos after an enigmatic experiment leads to unpredictable time-travel events. Margaret, his astute and smart ally, is by his side. Her unwavering determination keeps Hector grounded as reality starts to fall apart.
Players will discover a dramatic tale full of humor, intrigue, and poignant moments as Hector and Margaret negotiate broken timelines and unexpected meetings. They will encounter memorable people along the route, whose tales span time itself.
