The Wonders of the Arctic Event
As the Wonders of the Arctic event introduces Port Nordlyshavn to World of Warships, players will discover a mountain of goodies, ushering in the season of giving. Battles are used to gain ornaments, which are then used to decorate a festive tree. Players will be able to obtain free goodies such as World of Warships Premium Account access and containers when the tree is decked out in a variety of seasonal decorations. Players will receive three More Coal Containers, a By the Fireplace flag, and a New Year Sky permanent camouflage once all the unique ornaments have been installed. World of Warships’ in-game Advent Calendar returns, giving devoted players a range of daily presents all through December, adding even more ornamentation to the tree.
Li Wei and Olaf Lundgren’s travels from earlier updates come to an end with a brand-new Expedition to the North Pole event that spreads the festive spirit even more. All players can win the free Tier VIII Tech Tree ship, the American battleship North Carolina, during this event. Players that finish the Expedition can also get the Tier X Tech Tree German battleship Schlieffen, along with other goodies.
Last but not least, ships Tier V and above can take advantage of the Festive Rewards again from December 1 through January 9. Mariners will receive Santa’s Gift certificates after finishing a number of missions. These can be exchanged for a variety of credits or for Santa’s Gift and Santa’s Mega Gift Containers. One of 145 ships or a Golden Gift Container, filled with priceless prizes like Tier IX ships and above, can be earned using the Containers.
Reenact a Famous World War II Battle
The Japanese Tier X aircraft carrier Shinano and the well-known American Tier X submarine Archerfish have joined the roster of World of Warships as part of the most recent update. The two vessels are famous for their engagement during the height of World War II, where Archerfish defeated Shinano, the biggest carrier constructed at the time.
With its high-speed sonar pings and short-range homing torpedoes, the American Tier X submarine Archerfish is ideal for hunting down prey on the high seas. Additionally, it is the first submarine to have Combat Instructions, which give all consumables a reload increase. With a tactical Smoke Curtain Generator to covertly assume offensive positions and a new plane squadron of skip bombers for air combat, Shinano’s options make her more like a battleship. Along with a series of tasks that can win captains a historically accurate patch of the USS Archerfish, each ship is also outfitted with commanders, camouflages, flags, and other accessories.
There Will Soon Be Even More New Content
There is a lot more for gamers in the most recent World of Warships release. In honor of Li Wei and Olaf Lundgren, two brand-new Event Pass chapters with a theme have arrived. Each three-week chapter will cover 25 levels and include patches, containers, camouflages, and more in addition to knowledge about these Commanders. Construction of the Tier IX Pan-European Battleship Niord and the Tier V Pan-European Destroyer Kalmar, both of which will have a wide range of weapons and capabilities, will start at the Hamburg Dockyard on November 27. Additionally, new seasons of Clan Battles and Brawls, the reintroduction of Asymmetric Battles, and the arrival of Clan Patrols will give players more hands-on experience.
Numerous bug fixes, improvements, and game balance adjustments are also included in this release. The complete patch notes are available HERE.
