The beloved side-scrolling 2D MMORPG from Nexon, MapleStory, is thrilled to begin celebrating its 19th anniversary on May 1st with the launch of a new playable class and activities happening all around Mayple Island, a dream world that is off-limits to regular people. All heroes are invited to Mayple Island by Ameryl, who has been taking care of this fantasy land!
Enjoy Forest Child Lynn, a brand-new playable class in MapleStory
With a total makeover that includes new graphics, skill animations, and a revised skill system, Beast Tamer is being transformed into Forest Child, Lynn, to enhance her gameplay!
A human known as the “Forest Child” has interacted with the Spirit Guides and the Forest Master, Gaia, during countless reincarnations throughout history to assist in preserving the forest. Only by recalling the Spirit Guides’ names will the Forest Child be able to awaken. Will you aid Lynn in awakening and facilitating the flow of the forest’s energies?
Following Lynn’s entrance, there will be an attendance check event in which Lynn characters level 101 and above can take part by going monster hunting. During this short-lived event, don’t forget to claim the exclusive Lynn-themed goodies, which include the Lynn Outfit and Weapon set, Lotus Petal Mount, Lil Gaia Pet, Great Tree Chair, and more!
Characters level 101 and above can join in on the festivities on Mayple Island alongside other Maplers!
There are tons of exciting Mayple Island Events with the anniversary update! Participate in a variety of activities with your fellow Maplers, including Mayple Memoria, Maple Express, and the Heartwarming Dream of Mayple!
Start by using the Mayple Wish Orb, which gathers Sparkling Dream Pieces to keep Mayple Island, a dream island, intact. By taking part in the Mayple Adventure, Mayple Fiesta, and Mayple Challengers assignments daily, you can fill the Wish Orb with wishes and win great presents.
With the help of other players (cross-world matchmaking is possible), you can form alliances in the Dungeon Blast and Frozen Blast games in Mayple Adventure to get experience points. The following characters are available for selection by each player (no overlap): Thief, Bowman, Magician, Warrior. Are you prepared for this adventure? This minigame has an arcade feel to it, and the goal is to fight the ultimate boss by teaming up with friends to strategize and use each character’s playstyle.
Assist Mariela in blooming Mayple flowers during Mayple Fiesta and retrieve shimmering memories that hold significance for Mayple Island. To acquire EXP and Mayple Leaves, which you may exchange for upgrade rewards in the event stores, activate the skill, hunt enemies nearby, and fill up the gauge.
Play several minigames with Maple Challengers as well! Everyone can enjoy a selection of minigames that Flana has prepared; they will change as the weeks go. Try your dancing skills in the Club V Dance Party, compete against others for the highest score in Infinity Race, and more to collect Maple Candy that can be exchanged for exclusive cosmetic items!
During this special anniversary update, New Class Lynn will take you on a magical journey through the Forest. Don’t forget to enjoy tons of interesting events and minigames with your fellow Maplers on the amazing Mayple Island!
