Introduction
In the mystical and expansive world of New World: Rise of the Angry Earth – Season 3, a new element has been introduced that is set to overhaul the gameplay – artifacts. These incredibly powerful items can be acquired by players to enhance their combat capabilities, strategy, and overall gameplay.
Artifacts are more than just an extension of the named items in the game. They are a distinct tier of gear, each infused with game-changing perks that can turn the tide of battle, enhance the player’s skills, and offer new ways to explore and conquer the game’s vast landscapes. Every artifact is a piece of art, a combination of craftsmanship and magic that holds the power to make the wielder a force to be reckoned with.
To avoid the extensive grind needed to acquire and enhance every Artifact, consider utilizing a service like NW boost from Kboosting to reduce your grinding time, allowing you to fully enjoy the benefits of the artifacts with less wait.
What Are Artifacts in NW?
Artifacts in New World are special items imbued with unique powers and abilities. They are the treasures that every player seeks, the items that can transform an ordinary warrior into a legendary hero. Each artifact is distinct, boasting specific perks that cater to a variety of playstyles.
Whether it’s a weapon that unleashes devastating attacks, armor that offers unyielding protection, or jewelry that grants mystical powers, artifacts are the items that every player aspires to possess.
How Many Artifacts Are in NW?
The universe of New World is teeming with a diverse array of artifacts, each offering unique perks and abilities. These artifacts are scattered across the game’s vast landscapes, hidden in its darkest dungeons, and guarded by its most formidable foes.
The artifacts range from the devastating Pestilence (Artifact Blunderbuss) that inflicts poison and reduces healing effectiveness, to the incredible The Wall (Tower Shield) that enhances the tanking prowess, while removing the ability to dodge.
Players can equip a variety of these artifacts, with a maximum of three at one time, divided in one of each category of gear: weapons, armor, and jewelry. Each artifact is designed to enhance specific aspects of a player’s combat capabilities, offering a strategic advantage in battles and explorations. The diversity of artifacts ensures that players can tailor their equipment to their playstyle, ensuring a personalized and immersive gaming experience.
How to Obtain and Upgrade Artifacts
Artifacts can be obtained through various means including PvP Reward Tracks, closing corrupted breaches, and defeating specific enemies or bosses in the game. Each artifact has a unique drop location, ensuring that players explore and engage with diverse content to acquire these powerful items.
Artifacts can be further enhanced by adding a fifth perk of the player’s choice. To do this, players need to bring the Artifact and specific items to a Gypsum Kiln. The required items include:
- Weapon/Armor/Jewelry Matrix X 1
- Dark Matter X 500
- Gypsum Orbs X 5
- Chromatic Seal X 1
- 1 Crafting Mod of your choice
Note: If the crafting mod you want to use on the artifact is too expensive (for example, Adamant for Health perk), you can always leave the craft mod slot empty. This will result in the perk being rolled randomly. You can always check the chance percentage on nwdb.info, searching specifically for your artifact.
