The impending playable history of everyone’s fur-favorite bobcat mascot, Bubsy, will be featured in Busby in: The Purrfect Collection, which was announced today by Atari and Limited Run Games. The following titles will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch: Bubsy in Fractured Furry Tales (Atari Jaguar), Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind (SEGA Genesis, Super Nintendo, Super Famicon), Bubsy II (Game Boy, Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo), and Bubsy 3D (PlayStation).
Bubsy in: The Purrfect Collection, created by the Carbon Engine team at Limited Run Games, has eight vintage Bubsy games in addition to artifacts and interviews that provide light on the origins and legacy of our furry friend. While maintaining the quirky catitude for which Bubsy is renowned, every game in the collection has been meticulously updated for contemporary systems, smoothing out any rough spots with new quality-of-life features and technological advancements.
Fans and newbies alike can enjoy Bubsy’s fur-tastic collection in a whole new way with Bubsy in: The Purrfect Collection, the definitive celebration of his history. Prepare to dive into Bubsy and companions’ decades-long history, taking on platforming challenges, collecting memorabilia, and destroying villains while learning everything there is to know about the fierce feline franchise.
