Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a game that was announced this year by Publisher Devolver Digital and developed by Mediatonic. It is multiplayer game that is extremely fun to play with anyone.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a game where hordes of players compete together online in a mad dash through round after round of chaos until one victor remains. At E3 2019 we played through one round which had 3 levels in it; one was where there are about 70 players and half the players have tails while the other half has to keep on running and capture the tail for themselves. The objective is to pretty much survive the round with tail on, but the level makes it a fun to play because of obstacles.
The second round we played through was where you have to run through walls, some of which cannot be broken and some of which can be jumped through. And the last round was to capture the crown. In each level there are certain number of players who survive and get to the last round to compete for the crown. It was a fun ride as we talked to the developers; they told us about the how similar the game is to Takeshi’s Castle – anyone could see the similarity. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout gives you a competitive environment while at the same time it is so much fun that removes all the toxicity that some of today’s competitive games bring.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will be coming to PS4 and PC, and going to be released in 2020.
