NEXON Announces Anticipated BLUE ARCHIVE Summer Update at ANIME EXPO 2024

At the game’s first appearance at Anime Expo, NEXON Korea Corp.’s Blue Archive recently wrapped up their panel, sharing exciting news and insights regarding the beloved mobile RPG’s summer update. The highly anticipated summer update, which comes right after “Blue Archive: The Animation,” will greet players with a continuation of the anime’s plot and a ton of benefits for both newbies and seasoned players, according to the game’s directors.

Widely played in Japan, Blue Archive puts players in the shoes of Sensei and recruits talented students to put an end to the perils that threaten Kivotos, an academy city. It also offers tactical combat and a wide cast of original characters. With strategic gameplay and a constantly expanding cast of strong pupils, Blue Archive fans can expect poignant narratives with captivating battles and many prizes.

The directors of Blue Archive disclosed during the panel that players can begin using the summer update on Tuesday, July 23, which includes the following features:

  • Fifth PV Reveal: In the upcoming fifth PV, Blue Archive will tease readers with new tales and student expectations.
  • 100 Free Recruitments: For one week starting on Tuesday, July 23, players can gain 100 free recruits, which is the ideal way for new players to get started in Blue Archive.
  • Makoto and Ako (Outfit): New hires On Tuesday, July 23, Makoto and Ako (Dress) will also be added to Blue Archive.
  • On Tuesday, July 30, players will have the opportunity to obtain a dress replica of the well-known student Hina through a Fes Recruitment. The likelihood of finding 3-star students doubles during Fes Recruitment.

The directors of Blue Archive provided fans with an exclusive glimpse into the creation of the tactical role-playing game by discussing the process of creating the game’s unique artwork, soundtrack, and promotional videos. They also discussed their opinions of the well-liked anime.

Blue Archive Lead Director Kim Yongha stated, “It is the fans’ contagious excitement and unwavering support that fuels our drive to create more immersive and engaging experiences. Thank you for joining us at Anime Expo, for your incredible support of Blue Archive in North America and for being such an integral part of our journey. We look forward to continuing this adventure together.”

Blue Archive is enthralling participants on the show floor with its striking booth and entertaining activities. Enter the slice-of-life world of the fire-powered pupils, complete with a photo booth and vibrant cosplay hosts. In addition, attendees can participate in interactive minigames and win rewards with a theme.
