Introduction/Information about No More Room in Hell 2
No More Room in Hell 2 is a game that recently released into Early Access on October 22nd via Steam. This is an 8 player co-op zombie action game where players must find other players and work together to survive in a zombie apocalypse. I occasionally enjoy playing zombie survival games. They can be plenty of fun, especially when playing with friends. When I first started playing No More Room in Hell 2, I was having a lot of fun playing with my friends. However, because the game is still in very early access, the game does have plenty of bugs, some of which prevent players from actually playing the game. After playing No More Room in Hell 2, I would say that it has a great framework and plenty of potential to be a very fun survival co-op game with friends, and all it needs is more development time and bug squashing.
Gameplay
The gameplay for No More Room in Hell 2 is all about conservation, survival, and working together with other players. When players start the game, they will immediately be thrown in the middle of nowhere on the game map with nothing but a pipe, a flashlight, and a pistol with very limited ammo. From here, they can start gathering whatever supplies they can find and traverse the map. They can either go through the game alone, join with other random players, or team up with some friends. Whatever the player decides to do, their main goal is to survive and complete the different objectives across the map. Some of these objectives will require players to either fix different kinds of machinery or gather different kinds of materials. All of this while endless hordes of zombies try to kill them. As mentioned before, players start out with a pipe and a pistol. They can use these to defend themselves. However, players can also find stronger weapons to use on the map. The team must complete objectives and survive as long as they can using anything and everything they can find.
Final thoughts
Overall, I believe the game No More Room in Hell 2 has the ability to become a really fun zombie survival co-op. It just needs to continue development and try to focus on squashing any bugs and problems they can find. Now as I mentioned before, this game is in early access, so with it, there are a good amount of bugs and issues currently. One issue that I find important to mention is the function to add friends into one’s group. For some people, the friend code for their account does not seem to work, nor can it receive friend codes with other people. Other issues that I’ve run into were different models not loading in completely. To be specific, it’s mostly player models with only their head and flashlight loaded. Along with these, there are some other bugs that I’ve seen other players run into, all that I am sure the developers are aware of and working on. However, if you are the kind of player that enjoys zombie survival games, then I would recommend this game. If you are nervous about the bugs, however, but still enjoy the sound of this game, then I would recommend keeping up to date with any news about the game as well as stay updated with the games patches, as I still believe this game can be very fun for many players. Players who wish to play the early access or look into the game and keep updated can get it on Steam, as well as Epic Games.
No More Room in Hell 2 is available for PC via Steam Early Access and Epic Games Store for $29.99.
