PAX East 2025: Warframe/Soulframe Devstream Panel

Warframe/Soulframe Devstream Panel PAX East 2025

Warframe/Soulframe Devstream Panel was a blast at PAX East with a bunch of updates to both games. We had a great time with devs throughout the one hour.

Panel started with lighthearted jokes and a Soulframe trailer, featuring a boss fight against an armored three-headed bear named Bromius and a look at the new Neathuns environment. More details were shared about Preludes 10, which will include new weapons, armor types, enemies, and the customizable Mote system. A new limited-time community event called the “Festival of the Circade” was announced, which will introduce a new explorable location, unique rewards, and a community puzzle.

Next part was discussing Warframe updates:

  • Isleweaver Update (June 2025):
    • A new narrative chapter continuing the story from Warframe: 1999.
    • Players will return to Duviri to confront Major Rusalka.
    • Introduction of a new threat: the Eight Claw.
    • New Clan Operation: “Eight Claw,” featuring cosmetic rewards, Pathos Clamps, a new weapon, and Dominus Thrax as an event vendor.
  • New Warframe – Oraxia:
    • The 61st Warframe, a highly requested spider-inspired frame.
    • Will possess unique arachnid-like abilities and animations.
    • Orixia will also feature as a new miniboss in the Isleweaver update.
  • Yareli Prime: Will come with her signature Daikyu Prime bow and Kompressa Prime pistol.
  • Valkyr Rework & Heirloom Skin:
    • A substantial rework of Valkyr’s abilities, including a new “Rage” meter passive for increased melee damage, and adjustments to Ripline, Warcry, Paralysis, and Hysteria.
    • A Valkyr Heirloom cosmetic, created in collaboration with community artist Pertti Bahaa, will be released on July 21, 2025.
  • Vauban Heirloom Skin:
    • Scheduled for release in early 2026, this cosmetic is a collaboration with community artist Lua_Luminary.
  • Melee Slam Rework:
    • The damage and radius of melee slam attacks will now scale based on the height from which the player jumps.

Digital Extremes continues to engage Warframe players through Devstreams, with the latest featuring quality-of-life improvements and a special appearance by Ben Starr, known for his role as Arthur in the Warframe 1999 update. Fans of Warframe and Soulframe can look forward to exciting upcoming updates.
