Shadow of the Tomb Raider a great conclusion of the story of Lara Croft. We reviewed the game back when it came out, and rated it 9 out of 10 for its brilliant gameplay and story. But Eidos Montreal and Crystal Dynamics didn’t stop there. They announced 7 DLC’s for the game that add a back story and side story for other characters in the main series. This time we had our hands-on experience with the challenge tombs – including one from the DLC that just released “The Grand Caiman.”
We sat with the team of Shadow of the Tomb Raider and played a co-op game completing the tomb and finding out what made them think about certain design and programming decisions while creating the tomb. We also discussed about how the team came up with creating the idea around Peru’s culture and history, and how the creative art team went on site at Peru to get the ideas about the beautiful as well as vicious world of Shadow of the Tomb Raider.
The second last DLC “The Grand Caiman” is already out and available to play if you have season pass.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is available worldwide on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC/Steam. The Season Pass is available for $29.99 or “The Grand Caiman” can be purchased as a standalone for $4.99.
