Colt Canyon is a game developed by Retrific and published by Headup Games. We tried our hands on the demo at PAX East 2019, and loved this fast-paced, pixel shooter game. There is a local co-op available as well.
Colt Canyon has a top down view and you use the mouse to point towards the enemy in order to shoot. The objective is to save your kidnapped partner from bandits. The player has to go through all the different obstacles and enemies, both animals and humans. The game does have ammo mechanics that players need to acquire by killing more enemies as they move forward. There are about 3 boss fights each time. Also, the game changes every time the player starts over, and there are a lot of randomly generated environments.
Colt Canyon is set to launch later this year, Q3 2019, and will be available for PC via Steam.
Fromto is simple racing game developed by Studio Erikson and published by Headup Games. The game is all about building and racing.
The game art pretty much looks like a child drawing pictures and cars. Fromto is fun because it can can be played with multiple players at the same time and on the same device. Each level is designed in a way that during the first turn, when each player tries to complete the race, they fail as additional tracks need to be built. So, during the next turn, players are allowed to buy and set the track in a different way, including additional obstacles. The outcome is extremely fun as a lot of random things could happen during the gameplay.

Fromto is announced for PC via Steam and Switch to be released this year.
Vambrace: Cold Soulis a fantasy adventure dungeon explorer game that is developed by Devespresso Games and published by Headup Games.
Vambrace has a party exploration feel where you take 4 characters into the dungeon, akin to Darkest Dungeon feel. The art style is really well done and the gameplay felt smooth. The combat is turn-based, and there are two potential meters to each character in your team, one is health and the other is vitality. We had a really great time going through the dungeons where we either encountered battles or just moved on to other levels. The decision making is really important in this game as one wrong turn can have you restarting the entire game. There are about five different races and 10 unique classes to recruit characters from. And, there is also story and character progression available as you move forward. Vambrace: Cold Soul will bring the chills on April 25, 2019 for PC and Mac via Steam, and Playstation 4, Xbox On,e and Nintendo Switch is likely to be available by Q3 of 2019.
