Immerse Yourself in Fear – Capcom’s Resident Evil Requiem Releases February 27, 2026

The ninth and most immersive mainline chapter in the venerable survival horror Resident Evil™ series, Resident Evil Requiem, was unveiled at Summer Game Fest 2025 and will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on February 27, 2026. With the help of RE ENGINE and the full potential of contemporary consoles, Resident Evil Requiem offers unprecedented realism, complete with intricate character details like realistic skin textures, lifelike facial expressions, and even high-fidelity sweat droplets that will keep players on the edge of their seats. With its combination of intensely horrifying elements of psychological horror and the heart-pounding action that fans of the game are accustomed to, Resident Evil Requiem returns the series to the famous Raccoon City, the scene of the biological catastrophe that rocked the globe.

In addition to subtitles in Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Arabic, and Polish, Resident Evil Requiem has voiceovers and subtitles in English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Castilian Spanish, Russian, and Mandarin.

This is only the start. Throughout the year, more terrifying details about Resident Evil Requiem will be unveiled, including the first playable by the general audience at gamescom 2025. In 2026, survival horror enters a new era.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword Brings in Brutal New Enemies and an Supernatural Environments

During the Summer Game Fest live showcase, Capcom revealed a new trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword. A samurai equipped with a mystical relic fights underworld monsters in this dark fantasy swordplay action game, which features a strange backdrop, tough new enemies, and fighting systems.

New elements debuted in the new trailer include:

  • A Legendary Rival –Players can anticipate engaging in combat with a skilled swordsman from Japanese history in Onimusha: Way of the Sword. In the latest teaser, the main character, Miyamoto Musashi, engages in combat with his doomed adversary, Sasaki Ganryu, at Kyoto’s famous Kiyomizu-dera temple. Ganryu, who is also equipped with an Oni Gauntlet, will be crucial to this mysterious tale in which legendary fighters clash.
  • New Genma to Battle –In addition to his opponent, Musashi will have to contend with demonic Genma, such as the soul-robbing Kubi Akari and the raging Daidara, a massive Genma that has an unquenchable appetite for everything in its path. The video shows Musashi fighting Daidara and its enormous hammer in a hitherto unexplored area.
  • A Surreal New Stage –With its ruins and floating rock formations, the new battleground on show is a surreal scene. Musashi also exhibits a distinctive method of exploring this alien environment by calling forth new avenues for travel that appear out of thin air.
  • A Slice of Combat – Musashi uses a range of thrilling tactics, like as strong “Issen” movements that release devastating critical strikes right before attackers attack, to slay his adversaries throughout his battles. A new weapon that resembles twin hammers and has the ability to inflict crushing hits strong enough to break the very air was also teased in the high-impact action.
  • A Mysterious Figure –A mysterious figure who appeared to emerge from the radiance of Musashi’s Oni Gauntlet was also glimpsed in the latter minutes of the trailer. Who might this be?

Onimusha: Way of the Sword – In 2026, it will be released for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam. Modern remasters of the classic games Onimusha: Warlords and Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destiny are currently available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Steam for fans who can’t wait to explore the Onimusha universe.

The excitement is genuine! Take to the Streets with Street Fighter 6’s Year 3 Characters!

With the shocking reveal that all four of the Year 3 characters—Muay Thai ruler Sagat, covert agent C. Viper, professional wrestler Alex, and the vivacious Ingrid—will be joining the cast throughout the course of the upcoming year, Street Fighter 6 keeps up the pressure.

  • Sagat (Summer 2025), An established character from the series who debuted as the last boss in the first Street Fighter, he brings his enormous physique and exceptional Muay Thai abilities to Street Fighter 6! As Sagat releases this summer, stretch your legs and get ready to prove yourself.
  • C. Viper (Autumn 2025)is prepared to finish her job this fall and will not be deterred by any combatants. Prepare to employ all of C. Viper’s weapons to defeat opponents. She was last seen in Street Fighter IV donning her cutting-edge Battle Suit.
  • Alex (Early Spring 2026)will later this year in Street Fighter 6 execute his daring grappling takedowns in front of the lights! This beloved character makes a comeback from Street Fighter V and scales the ropes in the winter of 2025.
  • Don’t be fooled by the look of Ingrid (Late Spring 2026)! Ingrid is a very strong and enigmatic creature who can compete with any opponent. Next spring, she will shower the remaining Street Fighter 6 characters with her radiance!
