Summer Game Fest 2025: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Launching September 25, 2025

SEGA revealed during the Summer Game Fest 2025 livestream that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds would be available for pre-order on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC for $69.99 USD. The game will be released both digitally and physically on September 25, 2025.

Digital pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch-OLED Model, and Nintendo Switch Lite will be available soon, and physical pre-orders are currently available for $59.99 USD. Later on, the Nintendo Switch 2 system version will be available for as little as $69.99 USD. Those who own the Nintendo Switch version will have access to a premium upgrade option. With the addition of well-known figures from other SEGA properties, such as the Joker and Kasuga Ichiban, as well as special guests like Hatsune Miku and others, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will have an extensive cast of everyone’s favorite characters from the Sonic universe. Through a series of game updates, all players will be able to access these characters for free.

Playable characters from the popular Netflix series Sonic Prime and a Season Pass that adds vehicles, tracks, and guest characters from other well-known entertainment franchises like Minecraft allow players to race alongside Sonic and friends in Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Digital Deluxe Edition, further expanding the roster.

Sonic the Werehog from Sonic Unleashed is an extra character that fans who pre-order the Digital Standard or Deluxe editions of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds before launch will get, in addition to a unique vehicle and sticker! Await further information soon!
