Once more, players find themselves in a secluded community afflicted by a deadly, enigmatic plague. The sickness will eat up the city in twelve days, thus it is doomed. Every important choice has already gone wrong, and a negative outcome appears to be imminent. However, Pathologic 3 defies convention by allowing you to attempt to reverse every deadly error.
Time: Ally and Adversary
In a last-ditch effort to preserve its citizens, the town must investigate, inspect patients, issue strict decrees, and brave the quarantined areas. However, if time forces you into a difficult situation, take a leap back and try again.
Time Jumps as Core Gameplay
The fundamental gameplay element and distinguishing feature of Pathologic 3 are time jumps and temporal experimentation. They show how someone can go from being a prisoner of circumstance to attempting to piece together the ideal puzzle of events, putting the entire world into one puzzle and growing into something more.
