Iron Danger is a game developed by Action Squad Studios. It is a fantasy world of swords, sorcery, and cyborgs. Iron Danger is a story of a simple village girl, who gets the power that lets her control time itself. Kipuna, the girl, can control time and there is no limit to the amount of control – the only limitation is that you can only go back 5 seconds on the timeline.
In each unit of timeline, the player can take action – once the action is executed, and if supposedly something goes wrong, you can go back as long as it is 5 seconds. Based on the timeline, we can setup the events that let you strategize the actions. It forces you to think of combat and puzzles from a different perspective. The camera angles are top down like a strategic view and the graphics look amazing and polished during gameplay.
Iron Danger will be released this year for PC via Steam.
The second game during our visit to the Daedalic meeting room was A Year of Rain. A Year of Rain is a team RTS game that might feel familiar to a lot of people who have played Age of Empire or Warcraft series games. A Year of Rain lets you choose a faction and provides you with a legendary hero of the faction to control.
The level starts with a base where we have our base camp and allies available. We start with building from scratch with creating builders, an armory, and other facilities. Our objective is to create an army and then slowly go forward to take over different enemy locations and finally the entire map. A Year of Rain is designed for Co-op experience as the skirmishes will have a 2v2 games. Also the game has campaign mode available as well as a unique Against All Odds mode where two lone heroes face two entire armies. A Year of Rain will be released for PC via Steam sometime this year.
