The newest collection of pinball games from Stern Pinball, Inc. features John Wick, the greatest assassin in history. Alongside Stern’s brand-new dynamic AI fighting system, players will encounter the exciting and action-packed billion-dollar-grossing John Wick series, which was created in partnership with Lionsgate. There are three types of John Wick pinball machines: Pro, Premium, and Limited Edition (LE). Producers Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee of Thunder Road, along with franchise director Chad Stahelski through his production firm 87Eleven Entertainment, are behind the John Wick film franchise.
Players take on the role of the world’s best assassin and battle to escape his past in Stern’s pinball games, John Wick. The playfield features models and artwork inspired by famous locations from the franchise, such as the New York Continental Hotel and the Red Circle Club, all set against a dramatically edge-lit New York City skyline. Players can drive fast cars and engage in fast-action drifting across the playfield as the title character. In addition, players can access a hidden shot target path and a variety of weaponry by opening John Wick’s weapons container. The Blood Oath Marker is crafted; players must use it wisely or face the repercussions. After completing tasks for the fabled Factions of the High Table and surviving other assassins, players must accept John Wick’s “Special Assignment!”
To up the ante, John Wick pinball introduces Stern’s brand-new dynamic AI combat system, a game-changing invention that replicates the intense fighting of the cult classics. John Wick pinball games differ from previous pinball machines in that the opponent lights on the playfield are controlled by a basic video game AI system developed by the Stern team, as opposed to previous pinball machines where all lights were controlled by player actions, timers, and random number generation. Enemy icons in this new AI fighting system react to player actions and light up randomly around the playfield to challenge the player. Each game session presents a different challenge as the adversaries use this dynamic software to move tactically in order to counter player objectives. A brand-new action video player that dynamically reflects player action is another aspect of the system. When you take out three opponents, you’ll view movie stills from the John Wick movies!
John Wick pinball games will have unique music composed by Charlie Benante, of Anthrax and Pantera renown, and special narration by critically acclaimed actor Ian McShane as Winston, to complement the excellent cinematic and audio materials weaved throughout the action. Additionally, Lionsgate will be including franchise artifacts in the LE models, including bits of the iconic costumes worn by John Wick during the film’s production. Renowned artist Randy Martinez’s original neo-noir style paintings will be included on the pinball machines for John Wick.

The extremely collectible Limited Edition variant, which is only available in 1,000 games worldwide, comes with Speaker Expression Lighting and the Expression Lighting SystemTM. These integrated lighting systems dynamically react to game events and sync to unique light shows created especially for each song. A full-color “Stained Glass” mirrored backglass, full-color reflective brushed silver foil high-definition cabinet decals with hand-drawn artwork by Randy Martinez, upgraded audio system, shaker motor, anti-reflection pinball playfield glass, exclusive custom powder-coated pinball armor, a custom designer-autographed bottom arch, a sequentially numbered plaque, and a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Stern President & CEO Seth Davis are also included in the LE version.
